White Trash Waterpark
Tad and I went to Instructables.com and copied this little baby from their instructions. Eleven dollars later and we have our very own KidWash. It only took about 20 minutes start to finish and was super easy. Tad and I now have visions of our very own PVC Waterpark. We figure if we get some painters plastic and a few more of these KidWashes, we'll be able to make a super sweet slip n slide. Party @ Tad's, bring your cutoffs and wifebeaters!
Nan's Adventures
An oldie but goodie. Nan came to Texas to play with the kids while their parents vacationed. She's such a trooper. Only left the house for church and once for a dinner break with the girls. I would have pulled my hair out then ripped off my all my fingernails if that was me. Anyway, she brought her snowcone machine and bought a gallon of banana flavoring and was set. I think there's a special place in heaven for ladies who can handle 9 littles and still smile. We Love You Nan.
Clean Up Before Coming Inside
It's the only way to stay cool out here. Rowdy and I love our new yard. Mowing, weeding, watering, you name it Rowdy does it for cheap. Child labor laws anyone. So with an actual yard now Rowdy loves to get dirty and Celeste makes me squirt him off before he's allowed in the house.

Update
Yay! We finally got internet. and we are in our home! and all our stuff is here! not necessarily all out of boxes but it is all here! pictures will come soon. but so much is going on I don't want to forget!
Cody is still working on the railroad, and loving (as am I) living near some of his siblings. In fact last night he and his brother Tad went to the Scion Drag and Brag. funny huh! I am trying to talk him into entering our little toaster.
I can't bend over any more so poor Cody is on foot duty! massages, painting of the toenails, and shaving of the legs. (Maybe that's why I haven't seen him in a while!) but I don't really wear tennies during the summer so he lucked out with no shoelaces to tie. but besides the whole feet thing I am feelin' pretty good. One more month to go! August 12th. Still no definite name!
Rowdy is hilarious and hyper. He wakes us up every morning wanting to watch a "poopie" I am positive he is trying to say movie. He says, "I want to watch a Cars poopie." you know the Disney movie Cars. Its his favorite. I don't let him though. Its my bargaining tool and boy do I need it. He is very opinionated. He is talking a lot and really surprising us with his amazing memory. He remembers quite a few songs and can count to fourteen. Some of my favorite things he says are simple words but he says them with true understanding. like, "oh" (this one is probably my favorite) ,"Yuck!", "ummm" and we cannot forget, "drink a juice please". and he likes to sing and dance. actually I make him dance if he wants blueberries because I think it is so cute. He sort of gallops around and swings his arms all crazy. or he will do a sort of robotic bootie shake. I will work on getting a video of it. but he is such a good kid. He is sleeping all night in his "big boy bed". We ended up shoving the pack and play next to his bed so he doesn't roll off of the bed during the night. so anyway there is the short of it. I have a lot of catching up to do before this bebe comes!

Rewind!
We have seriously been MIA as far as blogging goes. So if you want the chronological story rewind to the february post that has been emblazoned on our blog for most of the year, and hopefully by the time you get to the present I will have caught up on all of my place holders!
Yoga Baby
So Baby bowler is due August 12th.
We had a real sonogram taken a few weeks ago here in TX, and the little guy was getting his morning stretches in when all of the sudden, Yes! Foot to head. He must be a little Californian like his Dad and Papa Arlan, because I haven't heard the term Metro out here yet.
I love that the little man did this because no offense to the babe, but we have been so preoccupied with house hunting he has kind of taken the back burner of our minds. But seeing his little personality come out made us remember how excited and lucky we are to be having another little man in our home, hopefully house :)
p.s. we put an offer down on one today!
