Its Time To...

hmmm...

What do you think?

Idaho?
Wyoming?

Or Alaska?
HOLY MOLY!
Or Cody could just be the better fisherman!

Don't Worry Wyoming, Your fish are still bigger than California's!

Pictionary Poppies

I was in charge of pictionary with the girls for August. It was the first time I have been running the show and I am not going to lie, I was a little nervous. Mostly about the prizes, and if people would like them or not. anyway in my quest I decided to paint some poppies inspired by my grandma's garden. When I was done, I was like , "Aww, Snap!" these came out pretty cool. j/k but anyway I was still nervous they would be the last prize picked. Well, they were pretty much the first, because when Letti went for them everyone was like, "awww noo!" and so she declined because she knew she could get a rain check. :)
Anyway I was flattered.

You can take....

the Boys out of Wyoming, but you can't take the Wyoming out of the Boys.

hee hee!
(I can just hear Bobby now.)

Big Man on Campus

On Rowdy's first birthday YaYa took him to get some nice pictures taken.
Rowdy actually took his first step on August 1st, but didn't want Dad to feel left out in Wyoming so he pretty much stopped even attempting until the middle of the month when Dad could be surprised.

Every one else gets school pictures! But really, do you think Rowdy will be the jock?
Or the class clown?

Number One!

8/8/08
Rowdy's big One took place at Letti and D's house with all the family from around town. The timing couldn't have been better with the "Wyoming boys" returning home the day before Rowdy's birthday. I guess Cody tried to surprise us, but I kept insisting he , "just get on the phone and tell your people it is your son's first birthday on Friday!" and my stress was causing him stress so he had to blow his cover and tell me he was on his way home!YaYa made Rowdy some cute bear cakes. One just for him and a cupcake bear for everyone else. Cody also helped with the decorating. The frosting was too good though because Rowdy just kept dipping his finger in it and licking it off.But he finally got the hang of it. Can you tell?He was so chocolatey afterwards we couldn't let it go to waste so Cody tried to make Rowdy give Chase a big hug. This is us waiting for my Dad to scare Chase down from the top of the swing set!

It was a pretty warm day so we all jumped in Letti's pool and then all jumped in a huge spider man jumper the grandparents rented! Rowdy loved it! and so did all the kids, (and me!)
Here are the cakes before the carnage

Rowdy liked to make me laugh. I would say "Funny Face" and he would squeeze his face against the net
It was a really fun day. The after party stayed to watch some of the opening ceremonies for the Olympics, which was Amazing.
An amazing day for an Amazing boy!
We love you Rowdy.

We had so much fun in Wyoming but it is nice to be home. I think, unanimously, our favorite thing about being back is the lack of mosquitoes!
