Nor Cal Shout Out

This past weekend we were able to hitch a ride up to Locke, Katie and Armanie's in Palo Alto. We has such a good time. It was so fun to get to know Armanie again. She is so much fun, and she does the best lizard impression. It was cool to see my brother as a doting Daddy. And Locke and Katie are like the coolest couple. They always have fun little hobbies and adventures that they share. It was also fun to see Yaya And Papa with both their grandbabies. They were all grins all weekend. Previous to the trip they had gone on a little photo shoot shopping spree for Rowdy and Armanie (which included the skunk and bunny costumes).
It was conference weekend. So we watched conference then we went Geo-caching. Where you have the handheld GPS and you basically go treasure hunting. It was a delightful afternoon. What a fun hobby instead of watching T.V.
Locke and Katie also are great cooks. Katie made us these amazing whole wheat pancakes. She basically made the wheat flour herself that morning. They were awesome. And she taught us how to make Gnocchi, the potato pasta dumpling things, and so good sauce. I was absolutely stoked about that because those are one of Cody's favorites from Argentina! (even though they are Italian)
Saturday night my parents gave us a night out and watched Armanie and Rowdy. Katie and I dragged Locke to get pedicures. It was fabulous. Then we went to a noodle house to eat. We had a lot of fun.
My Dad had fallen in love with this place called The Dish, on the Stanford campus, during a previous visit. It is a three mile workout path winding up and down hills and around a couple immense satellite dishes. The views were amazing.
Especially this view
Anyway thanks to the fam for the lovely weekend, and a big thank you to Cody for letting Rowdy and I skip out on him this weekend. We love you guys.
