I tried to make a few quilts for humanitarian aid but only got to give one away. Cody insisted we keep my first quilt. I was flattered. I will just have to make some more. It felt so good to see it appear out of nothing, and it felt even better to give it away to a good cause.

Beautiful. You have such a great eye for color. You should start a quilt journal. That way as you give away, you can still remember what you created.
I love knowing about you and yours through your blog. Would you take a picture of the one you are donating and let me post it on the website. I really want to inspire other families to see how easy it is.
